Daniel Fegan
Contracts Director
Daniel has been with CDM since 2020. He joined with the vision to open up an insurance department.
He started on the tools when he was 16 and has progressed through the ranks to his current role overseeing the insurance department.
Daniels communication, proactivity, hard work and determination are paramount to CDMs success in the insurance game and is very proud of CDMs growing reputation in this field.
Daniel is now learning a new skill and is currently passing his 10 years insurance sector knowledge to two surveyors that have recently joined the CDM family and the future is very bright.
Away from work Daniel enjoys time with his family and pushes himself physically at the gym where he has completed for various charities a 100km run and 180 plus mile bike ride to name the most recent.

John-Paul Johnston
Junior Contracts Manager
John-Paul has recently joined our CDM family. His past knowledge of processes and programming has already put him in good stead and he has hit the ground running. His previous roles prior to joining us was as an assistant contracts manager on a multi million pound site for a large groundworking company and as an assistant site manager, thus giving him the hands on experience that grants respect.
He credits his planning and articulate approach to his time in the army where he first got a taste for his fitness. J-p takes his fitness seriously and is currently experimenting with the new hyrox style that
is sweeping the nation.
Currently he is in the throws of passing his level 4 contracts manager course and is looking already at level 6.

Rudy Davis
Junior Contracts Manager
Rudy joined CDM as a Trainee Insurance Surveyor in June 2023. Prior to this role, he had a different professional background, but he had always demonstrated a keen interest in construction. When Rudy joined the company in June, he had limited construction knowledge, but he quickly developed a strong passion for learning about various facets of the business and the construction industry as a whole.
Notably, he achieved his Site Manager certification (SMSTS) through a 5-week course. Throughout his project assignments, Rudy consistently exhibits excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and effective time management to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget. Rudy’s responsibilities primarily lie within our Insurance department, where he manages one of our major clients in the insurance sector.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Rudy enjoys watching Portsmouth FC play and cherishes quality time with friends and family outside of the office.

Nick Jarvis
Contracts Manager
Nick joins our family after recently taking a break in the insurance field to develop properties in his native Berkshire.
Nick brings with him 20 plus years in the construction industry, working his way up the ladder starting off as an apprentice carpenter. He has a multitude of onsite skill which has versed him well in his technical approach to the role he now plays as a contracts manager.
His want and eagerness to develop his career were channelled into becoming the contracts manager he is today, this has seen him organise and manage a varied amount of claims big and small and at any given time over the years
Nick takes a hand on approach with jobs which aids establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Outside of work Nick recently become a Dad and loves spending time with his family.
He also competes in Motorcross from time to time and once upon a time he competed in world championships sidecar motocross.

Louise Allen
Insurance Administration
Louise previously worked within the education sector (for 12 years) in which she distinguished herself to obtained a level five diploma in education and training.
Additionally she has also worked in the marine recruitment industry with customer service/ administration roles. These roles have put her in good stead with her phone manorisms and empathy towards the policy holders
Louise brings a multitude of attributes to the table, which include her supportiveness, proactiveness, energy and a massive amount of positivity. Her willingness to learn and grow made her the ideal choice for the role and her aspirations for growth align with ours
Outside of work Louise enjoys being active and spending time with family and friends.

Charlie Sinclair
Office Administrator
Charlie joined the Insurance Department of CDM Contractors in January 2024, and has been studying Law since 2021.
Charlie come from a strong customer service and administration background, including legal and specialist heating & electricity systems. Using her organisation and communication skills, I assist my department in ensuring claims run efficiently and smoothly.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her children, family and friends.

Gavin Yates
Contracts Manager
Gavin Has joined our family recently and brings a wealth of knowledge with over 30 years in the construction game. Not only has Gavin gained vast knowledge in this country but he has also worked abroad in Australia. This is where he first cut his teeth in management, running a £2 million project as his first site management role. This natural progression of onsite working, when he worked closely with his godfather who was a master craftsman, to management means Gavin’s gained hands-on experience which aids his work and is invaluable.
Gavin brings with him a vast knowledge of subsidence which is a genuine asset to our team, his calming nature and articulate approach is a trait very few can boast to posses. He has quickly established himself among our team and his teamwork skills is quickly being noted by our management and trades already. We are massively proud to have Gavin in our family and foresee a great future here for him.
Outside of work, In his younger days, he was lucky enough to enjoy his football and cricket, representing his county at both and having professional trials. Additionally Gavin now enjoys a round of golf when he can. Gavin is a family man with 4 children and his ambition in life is to show them, they can do anything if they put in the hard work and believe in themselves, that anything is possible.

Wayne Wise
Contracts Manager
Wayne joined CDM D.I in December 2024, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. His vast knowledge in this niche sector has benefited him greatly. Wayne began his working life onsite as a tiler by trade and has naturally progressed his career into the managerial role he has cemented today. Wayne’s emphatic approach to the policy holders situation and comforting nature has already produced great reviews and feedback. His ability to communicate and organise all parties involved with the claim, makes the process stress free and informative from start to finish to all involved. Wayne is currently studying for his NVQ level 6 and has also completed an SMSTS course.
From a personal point of view, Wayne loves spending time with his family and has been involved in coaching Youth Football at various levels for 15 years. A dog lover also, Wayne keeps fit and active by long walks in the countryside and lists climbing Snowdon as one of his personal challenges completed. Wayne’s dedication and drive when speaking about providing for his family was a contributor, along with his many other attributes, in our decision in bringing Wayne into our family. His passion and determination was clear and gives him a ‘why’ in life.
